Dracaena plants do well in medium filtered sun with no direct rays. So in a sunny room, but with the sunlight's direct rays never touching its leaves. Water when soil is completely dry: typically 1.5- 2 wks. These will grow tall and tree-like always maintaining its top leaves but losing its bottom leaves as it grows tall. Do not get the middle of the plant wet.
